Default What engine to use on Katana?

hey guys i have a KMP 2M Katana that i am going to use a gas engine on. i have a g-38 i could put on it but was thinking about either the DLE-30 or DLE-55 the website of KMP says they fly theirs with a an O.S. 1.60 so i am looking for a gas equivalent to that or just a bit more. i also was looking at an evolution engine 35gt2 or 40gx but they are a lot more expensive.

do you think that the DLE-30 will have more power than my g-38?

thanks.

At 78" wingspan, the DLE 30 would do it, but I had a 50cc in a 81" plane and loved it.

Yes. If it's got a magneto it might be a lot heavier though, and make it a tough fit in a tight cowl.
