Because ot the wonderful work of the tree huggers in California the old Sachs/Makita 4.2, one of the best engines ever made, is no longer..The new engine is a 4.6 with reed valve, hopefully available without costing an arm and a leg...We'll see how it works out if I can get my hands on one.
