Turnigy HP50
I've read some posts about this engine and I couldn't resist trying to get more input on it. Read one post that it swallowed a magnet for the rotary valve, how that happened is a myth to me, and one about metal filings in the crankcase and another about a crack in the rotary valve housing itself. Did they get a different version than I did? What compelled me to buy one from HK, I don't know! But I did! It seems to be a copy of a DA50. Not trying to + or - the engine, but mine is great! Power as advertised! Better than my BME 50.

RE: Turnigy HP50
Cap232tain,
I too read all the negative comments from others here on RCU and if I had listened to them I would've steered away from the HP50. Mine runs very well and although I have yet to fly it, I have ran it several times. It seems to produce plenty of power and I am confidant that it will fly the Widhare Extra 300 very well. Good Luck with yours!
Happy Flying!
