Default Crrc 40 ignition sensor

Are the new Crrc sensors and ignition modules that come with the new engines any different than the old ones?

Not on the 40cc engine, they will only work on the modules that look like the one pictured.

Jody my module looks like the one on the left. Is this still the old style module? Are the new sensors any different than the one tat came with my motor?

Yes, that's the older type ignition, the newer one doesn't have the pseudo mounting flanges. The sensors are not interchangeable between the two types, they look identical except the plug, the new type sensor has a female plug housing, yours has a male housing.
