Why are you interested in a J'Tec muffler when Bisson mufflers are available? At least for engines worth owning they are.
Seriously, aren't those specs available on the J'Tec site? If not, they should be.

RE: New .90 gas engine (15cc)
Skip, The Reactor is complete. Ran the engine today. Once the gas got to the carb, it barked on about the 5th flip. However it took a bit to get it to run. Had to open the LS needle about a half a turn and it settled into a burbling run and I let it run at 3500 rpm for 15 min as per the instructions. After cool down, it now starts easily and was able to lean out the LS needle and smooth out the burble. Would have flown it today, but we had some high winds which were around 20+mph. And besides, I tore the LG loose on one side and have to make repairs. In the subsquent runs, I was able goose it a bit and it takes the opening throttle pretty well. It pulls pretty hard with the break in prop. The thing is pretty messy with the 25:1 gas mix. It is oozing black gook from several places in the muffler. I had put copper Permatex on the exhaust part and it was OK there. But I should have dis-assembled the the whole muffer and hit it with the Permatex. Hope to get it in the air soon and will post some more pics. Bob

I would like to hear real potential JBA.
But while there is not enough information on flights of models with this engine.

RE: New .90 gas engine (15cc)
When out today and had 3340-3500 at idle and 9640-9900 just above half throttle!!, but it died at times as I increased the throttle, guess I have to do some adjusting.... I'm using an APC 14x6 and pennsoil 2 cycle air cooled at 32-1 for break-in.

RE: New .90 gas engine (15cc)
So I have been running my JBA 15 quite a bit these last couple of weeks and I have not had a great deal of success. It will not hold a needle setting and seems to get lean and deadstick. Now maybe this is a sympton of needing to break in more. I have tried the full range of props from 14-7 thru 16-6. Another issue I have had is the plug cap has come off once. I lashed it back so this will not happen again. Any ideas on how to calm down the needle settings and get it to not go lean and die. I am running a 6 oz. tank and am using 30-1 MC-1 oil. Bel Rey.

RE: New .90 gas engine (15cc)
My first tank using a 15x6 prop and Im pulling 8.66lbs of thrust. I burnt up a fuel line so my testing ended. Even with the muffler sealed its still leaking oil at the joints. Seems the head sealed fine. Hope to run it again tomorrow. Anyboby else have an info?

Is this the JBA 15cc .90 cubic inch engine your posting about in this thread? I just wanted to make sure. Capt,n

Captin it is the one we are talking about. These engines are very sensitive and they take a while to break in. They are not like the reed valve engines we are use to it takes a little more paitience with these.

Mine runs pretty good. With a 15x6 its running around 8200-8300rpm. It is rough around 1/2 stick. No problems at all letting it idle and then full throttle. Just needs to smooth out. I hope to fly it in my Top Flite P51 65in this weekend. Gonna run a few more tanks though it.

If you are really having a problem with your needles vibrating closed, there is a product that the R/C boaters use...............
Needle Clamp

Not sure if the needles are actually moving. I thought maybe it was going lean as the engune warmed up. That is how the glow engines act anyway. That looks like a good solution if that is the real problem.

More pics.
More pics.
If yes, not good.
Level, or tilted back would be better.
