Default zenoah 26i prob

new engine will start for a few seconds and then go lean and die. it wont richen. Ive changed the tank and lines cleaned the carb and still nothing . could it be a fouled plug?

The diaphragms are bad in your carb

Or....the carb is upside down and the pulse port to the fuel pump doesn't line up through the carb adaptor. It will run this way but won't rev up.

Another possibility is the ignition battery is too low. A low battery will often provide spark at idle speed but won't spool up. Metal hydride batteries also might not supply enough current to spool up (at least until after they warm up).... the Zenoah is power hungry when revved.
