That sure is a good summery of the DLE20 all on one page! I hope more people will do the same on other engines in other threads. Sure would help hunting for data.
Best Regards, Capt,n

Excellent work a1pcfixer.

I'm thinking of putting two of these babies in a ESM B-25.

I had to look that model up. TBM's suggested Aerovate RCGF 20cc each weigh about 9oz more.
So, you'd have a great match with 2 of these instead!

Anybody make any 3-bladed props for this?
Gotta look 'scale' ya'know.

Tower doesn't always tell the trurh about when it comes to something new.

I've been expecting something to be in stock and see it at the LHS before the web site says it is in stock.

When I was married, the airplanes would sneak in through the back door, through unlocked windows, and through anywhere they could! Maybe that's why I'm not married any more.... [] (And she didn't even know about half the engines I have!)

Yea, but I'm not in a hurry for one at the moment.

Currently i"m flying a World Models P-51 and a six year old 60 sized Aeroworks Edge 540T. This engine would be perfect for both of these. The P-51 will be first up and I hope it will fit. I have a 40-sized Ultra Stick that I will probably sell and buy a 60 size so that I can put this motor on it (or maybe the Saito 100 out of the P-51). I see myself buying 2-3 of these in the next year. I want a 50cc bird but the cost of the supporting equipment is just too much to justify. Not to mention transporting it around. I had been looking at the RCGF 20cc but the weight and power level scared me away. This DLE is the ticket if the good reviews continue.

I sneaked my Fliton Extra 300 mini in, and when she saw it, after a few days of me flying it of course, WELL!!! needless to say, the coversation we had about another plane didn't go over to smooth.

I guess I'm lucky. My wife doesn't give me a bunch of grief about the R/C stuff. Maybe it's because when she does, I'll throw out - "I can always take up racing cars again.."

What type of mount would be best for this engine? I am just wondering if the carb/throttle-choke hookup would intefere with the engine mount? (Speaking of a plane with a regular, flat firewall....not a profile as in the earlier vid by Jodi.)

I thought about putting the DLE 20cc on my AW Edge 540T,but Jody felt as if it would be overpowered and overloaded the airframe which can be difficult for anyone to fly properly. He suggested that I go with this http://www.valleyviewrc.com/JBA%2015...s%20Engine.htm a1pcfixer also felt as if the 15cc would be a better choice for the Edge.

<hr />It would not have mattered how may airplanes you had....when them women find what they think is a greener pasture....off they go. I guess if they like the newpasture, you just wait untill a women who really loves you for who you are comes along...then good things happen. Best Regards capt,n

How about a DLE 20 CC on a Hangar 9 Funtana 125. Is this enough motor to hover the plane? I have a 120AX glow sitting on the shelf I may use, but thought of this new 20 maybe instead. I know some guys have used the 30 cc syssa or DLE 30 on this plane, but just wondering if the 20cc is enough to do 3D and have plenty of power. I like my planes a little overpowered, but I do not like them to the extent I have to put such a big motor on that I load the wings. How do you guys rate this motor vs. say a OS .91 or a OS 1.20 glow?

Perhaps between a .91 and 120AX, or is new 20 stronger or as strong as the 120AX?
