Default Help from you engine guys

I have a DA-100L and two DL-100's that I want to make some canister mufflers for.
I bought these aluminum water bottles at the dollar store.
Going to tig in some aluminum tubing and make up some aluminum headers.
These bottles are 2 7/8" in diameter and are 8" in length.
Weight as pictured is 3 oz. flat.
I am going to remove the brass threaded bottle lid ring.

Question are:

What diameter tubing is the inlet and outlet on a 50cc can ? ( like the MTW TD75 ).
What type of aluminum tubing do I need for the headers? ( something that will bend in a bender and not snap like a wingtube ).
How long should the header pipe be?
Header drops are different for different types of planes, right ?
Should I exit out the back like a tuned pipe or at the front like a canister muffler?

I can make the header/cylinder flange on the mill, get some tubing, bend it, tig it, and give them a try.
The bottles were only $1.00 each, so not much $$ invested.

Any help would be great, Thanks.

It'll be hard to tig the thin can to aluminum tube. The can will burn through very easily

That's what I used and so far it's been holding up quite well.

Aluminum solder sticks from "bernzomatic" will work well if you have a length of header to cool the gasses a little. I use it because I don't own a TIG. It will melt if you stick an exhaust pipe to a muffler box an inch from the side of the head on a big engine, ie 50cc.

I used JB Weld. Cut a short piece of tubing the same dia as header. Then JB weld it into aluminum beer container. A high temp silicone connector joins the pipes. Capt,n My exhaust &amp; 3 others in photos<hr />

I used that method to make a mousse can muffler for my G20, see attachment.
