Gas engine question
Planning on moving up to gas engine rc planes just purchased a 70in Katana 26 to 30cc. Just wanted know what engine to go with? What would you recommend and why? I'm thinking either DLE or Brison but I really don't know. Please help. Thanks

If you like RCGF engines, get the 32

RE: Gas engine question
I think the DLA 32 is a good engine if you could find someone in the US selling them.

RE: Gas engine question
Would it be too much to put the 55cc DLE on a 29 to 30cc plane? What guys think? Thanks again.

RE: Gas engine question
TBM says DLE 30s are in stock
Viper, The smallest Brison is a 2.4 or 40cc, a little to big for that plane IMO. It would work and it's a great engine but a little heavy for the airframe, I have one in my Ziroli 70" p-47, I'm thinking of going smaller because it's more than the plane needs too good luck |
RE: Gas engine question
A little much, plus just adding weight to your wing load.

RE: Gas engine question
DLE 30 or the MT35 - MT is a std beam mount like a glow engine, just as powerful as the DLE 30. DLE55 way too big.....
