I recently became the owner of the engine.
Photo to compare its size with the DLE-20 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110497 Elements of the carburetor. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110498 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110499 My engine had a weight http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110500 When there was the option of buying this engine I liked the spark plug cap. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110501 I respect this manufacturer for the correct solution. I had a crash in the Evo-10 because of their silly attitude to the reliability of the product - http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110502 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110503 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110504 I am grateful RCGF they took care of the safe operation of the engine. Many times well done !!!! The muffler is very light. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110505 But on sale, there are special silencer (Its price is unduly inflated.). http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110506 http://www.kpo-flugmodellbau.net/ Some photos it looks like the engine inside (I will not comment)......... http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110507 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110508 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110509 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110510 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110511 For the engine has prepared this model. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110512 Did the fuel tank http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110513 And so established - http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110514 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110515 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110516 I was afraid that the fuel pump will heat up. Did the heat deflector. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110517 And the first launch of the engine. <span id="result_box" class="short_text" lang="en"><span class=""> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt9-oK5y7Wo Engine like. Its power is less than my Evo 10. But the engine works very reliably. With the adjustment of the engine to handle even a person with no experience. During operation detected flaw. When setting the carburetor aluminum damper clench in the groove fixation. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2110518 The reason - the need to chamfer. Because when you adjust the needle, hitting transmitted and screw fixing groove smashes. I really appreciated this engine exploiting it. RCGF create an interesting engine. |
The right to the engine manual -

Engine worked in flight for 1 hour.
During this time, the engine received a positive evaluation. Most importantly in this engine - the fuel system did not cause any complaints. Although I am not surprised. I got the impression that the manufacturers of the engine looked for the subject and try not to repeat the shortcomings of which I did not like in the EVO. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/gas-...10gx-mods.html (I completely removed with the theme - to see not like compromising information.) The main thing that RCGF did not repeat the mistakes of others and the engine runs beautifully. Even considering that the carburetor has no elements idle setting, but the right design works reliably. The engine is very high-torque. And it works better on heavy propellers. I'll try to make a video of a flying model this engine. The best option turned out when I operated the model propeller APC15x4W. The static engine unwound this screw to 8600rpm. In the near future I want to continue the experiment with a propeller APC16x4W. |
