spark problem...
I have a new 3W-60 that will only spark when I flick the switch to the "on" position. It doesn't do anything when I flip the prop over.
Any Ideas? |
spark problem...
3W ignitions have a pickup coil for a sensor. When the magnet moves past at a fairly good speed, then a critical voltage is generated in the pickup coil - and then it will spark. If you don't flip it fast enough - no spark. That's a safety feature so slow lazy flips will not cause accidents.
