Speed Prop for 50cc

Has anyone run a 50cc for speed and if so, what prop? Would need to spin high. 18x18? 18x16? I've looked around and can't find any. APC, Bolly Mejzlik etc. Any ideas? Needs to have some pitch.

Try an APC T6 race prop or a common 18-12 and let the engine rev up.

There are very high pitch propellers used in the old military target RC planes. Check on Google with
maker/brand name MMeggitt, it is used on Banshee for very big engine. By the way, how can I upload
picture here - advice please, I am not getting it posted by some reason I do not know.[img][/img]

Thanks you guys. I will check into this next week. Nikko, your photos are great. 40 pitch!!!! I'd figure a 15 or better pitch might get it there at 9 to 10 K like Ralph once stated. The AT6 prop is for an 80cc. At this point I'd like to get some hands on usage suggestions from someone that has done it with a 50cc. Piping the engine is no problem either. My idea is a like a very large hot liner.

You can cut down the length of a longer prop if it's got the pitch you want. Balance very well.

APC does have something for the G62's they race....you might need to drop Ralph's name or something to get em on the same page. For standard flying the G62 and good 50cc engines are spinning the same props, so it should be a good option. I just don't know if the 50cc options out there like the higher RPMs like the G62 does. Definitely keep us posted!!!

Most of the better 50's have no problems at all spinning over 10k. Just be prepared to take a little better care of them.
