RE: RXcell Question
A 5/8 hex cap will have a spring in it.

RE: RXcell Question
Your probably going to have to take it apart to make sure the silicon boot is not torn.
|
RE: RXcell Question
The boot looks OK common sense wise, think the spring just fell out somtime, can i just take cap apart never done it before, not sure how lead is attached,if nothing out of ordinary i will dissasemble how should the spring stay in,just sits above silcon boot w/out room to fall out,as if boot was torn or over size, thanks

RE: RXcell Question
The spring is inside the boot and has 2 prongs that go through the HT lead. It is very unlikely that it "fell out". It could be pulled out but that would damage the HT lead

Thanks Terry,i will call you, appreciate your time!

RE: RXcell Question
Be careful NOT to twist the cap when removing...
It seems to spread the cap out and that starts ground problems... That is most likely your arching problem... I have a DL 50 now with 60+ flights with NO spring but I am VERY careful NOT to twist the cap when removing... |
