Firewall Servo Mount

I need to mount the throtle servo on the firewall, as well as the electronic ignition module. The receiver is buried far back in the plane. I'm assuming this is not a problem as long as I don't use metal to metal from the servo to the carb.

Thanks. I'm going to have a real hard time mounting the throttle servo 12" away, actually impossible...

Here is your chance to start a POLL...but first read the ways it done, so you can create correct Poll choises.

RE: Firewall Servo Mount

depends on the engine.

I have done firewall mounts many time.
servo on one side of the engine box, ignition on the other...

assuming it is a quality engine with shielded ignition, should be fine..

always range check...

the 12" rule is good, but more for older magneto engines or older, non-shielded engines....
