Rule book
Hi all
I am just getting back into RC after twenty years off. I used to race Q500 with a scatt Cat running a Rossi 40. I still have the engine and it runs great. Well it did not take long for the Pylon bug to bite and I want to race.
I have been racing landspeed motorcycles for the last ten years. And learned the first thing to do is find out the rules.
Is there a place that has all the rules? Things like engine specs, wingspan and weight minimum/ max?
im thinking about getting a Phenix Strega and using an OS 46 or a Saito fourstroke just to play with before getting a more expensive racer.

Check out National Miniature Pylon Racing Association - NMPRA Under the "start here" tab you'll find "class rules" which ought to tell you what you want concerning Q500, Q40, and electric EF1.
For warbird racing there's another organization, but since I don't do warbirds, I can't help you with a link.
Someone here ought to be able to chime in with info about that.
