I don't know about "model" Thompson Trophy Races, but, I just picked up a bunch of really great Thompson Trophy Race books on ebay. Anywhere from $5-$20 and they are spectacular!
Just an FYI. Check it out!
Being the nostalgic type myself, I would really love to see some model Thompson Trophy pylon races at the local field! Give it say a 50cc max engine size. Or you could make different classes.
