Default Viper 500 info

I'm looking at buying a GP Viper to play around with. What size battery pack will fit into the plane? Doesn't look like much room. Thanks for any info.[hr]

Druce,

Ditto........

I use 6 v 700 milliampe AAA Nimah also. Works great. The Fuel tank compartment is tight but it will fit. Some guys will use the round bladder type fuel tank which can be set further back in the fuse which give you more room for the battery. Depends on your fuel set-up, either way this size battery is good.

Good Luck

My Viper has a 4 cell AAA NiMH 1000 mAh flat pack. I also have the bladder tank so I can move the battery for CG location.
