Hello everyone,
This Saturday, August 23rd, the dist VIII group will be having a pylon fun fly/workshop at Scobie field in Houston. So far it sounds like there will be a pretty good turnout. We will have the race course set up, and running some heads up heats. This will be a run what you brung. Anyone is welcome to come out to fly anything around the race course.
We hope everyone can make it out. It will be a fun day of practice, learning, and talking shop.

We will be there Early. We have the field all day. But if you show up at 4 you might be a bit late.

I hope Ken is coming. Is he back from the coast?

I'll be there. I'm looking forward to it. Its my first time to fly the 3-pole course with my Viper. I'm bringing the Raider just in case. It might be too busy if the turn out is really good. I think Gary is going to ride down with me. He's bringing his Raider just in case. He's waiting for his Viper to come in. The last time I was at Scobie someone backed into my truck and left the scene. $1500 damage! I might park away from everyone! Ha! See you Saturday Chuck. Hopefully my truck won't be run into again!

For sure!! Lately it seems as if one of us always gets taken out before the A Main. I'll bring my Raider and my NemeQ. Unfortunately I don't think I'll have the Hurrikane done in time, although it's getting close.

Ken already replied that he's going to be there. Gary Fisher is going to ride w/ Ken, so we should have some good representation from up here.

Taylor's birthday party is this Sat. So have fun, and see you at CLAMS.

What better place to celebrate than with us?! Wish you could make it, but I guess we'll see you in a couple weeks. Tell Taylor happy birthday!!
