Cessna 150/152 Hostetler here goes nutin
Cessna 150/152 (Hostetler) - Here goes. Just opened my new kit and have begun. Does anyone have any advice they would like to offer while I dive in with both feet?

This kit is from Custom Kutters. It is with all cut parts, sheeting, glass pants and cowl and aluminum landing gear. I ordered it without the nose gear on purpose to lower the shock to the budget. As far as hardware, I like to add (custom) my own. Sort of a habit. In the future I hope to buy/build the 172 & 182 and may look to purchase a laser cut version. I already have the Cessna 206 NIB that I bought last year online and will see how that one goes.

You are going to love this bird! I have the same plane, assuming yours is the 30%, flying with a Zenoah GT80. I don't know if the kit was from the same manufacturer as yours, because I aquired mine RTF.
You should be happy about not using the kits nose gear, my gear snapped the tube on the first landing, granted the landing wasn't greased, wind gusting to approx. 25 mph, but the landing wasn't even hard enough to break the prop after the gear snapped!
Even with the landing problem, the plane was more than impressive in the air. I can't wait for my clubs next Big Bird event to take it up again.
Good luck and Enjoy
Ken

please if not to much fuss, post pictures of your building project as you go along, i ordered his C206 but im planning to cut my own parts and i would really love to build it but im getting cold feet allready, it would be nice to see how something like this goes together, it would help to get a feel of the construction.
do you build the fuse in halves?

Brian, your email account is not accepting mail. I've sent you a personal message. I'm interested in the items you have for sale.

I have a current build thread going here. www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10373349/anchors_10373349/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#10373349
If that link does not work look up Hostetler Cessna 150/152 build. I am currently on the road but actively working on the plane. Unfortunately I found out the other day that I built the flap wrong and am going to have to start over. I have build pictures posted of my current progress.
Regards
Glenn Williams
