elevator Q 3d flying
i am wondering how most elevators are set up for 3d flying are you guys using a equalizer such as a [link=http://www.smart-fly.com/Products/EqualizerII/equalizer.htm]smartfly[/link] or just using conventional set up and mixing the two servos together ? I am building a 50% goldwing sbach

RE: elevator Q 3d flying
thanks for the reply david, yes i used to own a futaba 9chp and would the do the same ch 5, then i went to the equlizer from smart fly witch uses the elevator channel only,i did it because 1 servo would always lagg behind a bit more so on high rates so a friend recommended it. then i purchased a spectrum dx7 and used the smart fly but i want to do away with it in my new plane and i was curious if people still used them or not back five or so years ago they were a hot item.. thks again

RE: elevator Q 3d flying
I have a 9C and a 10C. I don't have a lag problem on either. Must be one of the lucky ones on the 9C I guess. 5 of the planes I have on it are dual elev servos. All of these have extreme throws. There are several ways to set the mix up. Maybe some of the ways cause the lag?
