Default Powerbox smoke pump motor question

Our local Hobby shops are currently out of smoke pumps, so one guy offered to sell me a "used" smoke pump which is supposed to be powerbox.

However, the motor that is attached to the pump says "Graupner"! and he told me he had to attach his own ESC speed control (world models). I asked him if it is powerbox and he told me it is but he stripped off the cover, which had the powerbox name on it, to attach the replacement ESC speed control.

Does anyone know if Powebox smoke pump actually uses "Graupner" motor??

Also, by stripping the rubber motor cover, wouldn't this cause interference from the motor?

Does it make a difference from a "radio interference" point of view if the motor was brushless or not brushless?

Thanks in advance!
