Help needed: Duralite redundant switch/regulator unequal drain issue
Hi,
I thought a 3D giant thread would be the best place to ask this question since there is a lot of experience among 3d giant flyers in using redundant power systems. I tried to ask this question in the battery section, but it has been 2 days and no help.
The problem is very confusing to me. I am using a duralite redundant switch/regulator to connect two 2600 mAh batteries to the receiver. I noticed that it does not matter which battery of the two is connected to "connection 1" of the switch, it will drain almost double the amps/voltage from this battery compared with the other battery connected to the "connection 2".
I did many tests by switching the batteries (connecting battery 1 to connection 2 and connecting battery 2 to connection 1), and it is very clear that there seems to be a problem with connection 1.
Could it be a wire problem (wire for connection 1), or maybe an internal regulator problem.
Thanks in advance!
