Default GY48V headklock gyro

how maney use a gyro like this one on a cub? I fly tail dragers and this seagull 120 cub with a rcg 20cc on it is a real bear to take off. I know practice practice and throttle manangement on take off I was just thinking it would be easyer to do and not crash the airplane thanks michael

I used a gyro on the rudder of a Cub several years ago - worked OK and helped a lot on takeoff. Two points - don't use a heading hold gyro and make sure you can switch it off after takeoff and in case of problems.
