PAU 30% Extra 300sc and DA 70
Hey everyone-
Im awaiting arrival on my DA70 I am using for the PAU Extra. I hear the engine and airframe combo is one to be reckoned with, and have high expectations.
Out of all the giant birds I've owned, I've never ran a 3 bladed prop. For this, because the lines are very accurate to the real Extra, I am extremely tempted to install a 3-bladed prop on it. I anticipate some of you to try to talk me out of this, and I will definitely heed all advice that's given, but really would like to know what 3-bladed prop works best for this engine.
I have toyed with the idea for a smoke system to add to the "scale" effect, much like wanting a 3 bladed prop... depending on how the plane flies with this engine and potential prop combination, I may add it later, but for now, I would like to have the aesthetics match the precision of the PAU airframe. I would like to know the pros/cons to running 3 blades vs 2. I am by no means an expert at hucking, but I will undoubtedly try my hand at hovering and mild 3d.
Thanks!
