Default Pilot Decathlon 107" Aileron on Y Harness?

I have a Pilot Decathlon 107' with the aileron on Y harness because I do not have enough channels to put the individual ailerons on separate channels. Is there any noticeable effect in performance? What are the advantages/disadvantages of putting aileron on separate channels?

I used seperate channels on my Tiger 60 so I could individually control aileron differential and deflection on both sides. That is the only reason I can think of not to use a Y harness. If precision aerobatics is not what you are looking for then a y harnes should be fine.
