Edge 540V3 in 1/3
After attending the Red Bull air races in Indianapolis and seeing Martin Sonka's Edge 540 I just had to have one. Since there are no kits it had to be a scratch built project. Power is a DLE 120 twin and the span is 119". So far it has two flights on it and I am still getting the CG & throws dialed in to my liking. All the finish is paint with a clear coat that was color sanded with 1200 grit and then compounded so there are no paint edges. The finish was 4 months of work!
