After some more research, I suspect the shape of the I-Struts with the kit. Would anyone be willing to scan and email me a pattern from your plane?
I am in the later stages of setting up one of these foamies. It seems unAmerican to try to build an airplane without plans..but the price was right.
I drilled all the holes in the round wood inserts for cabanes and I-Struts as the instructions say.
When I install the top wing, it appears too far forward. I-struts don"t line up with the holes in the notch locations on the I-struts. No way to take any measurements without plans. Can someone give me a dimension from the top of the firewall to the forward edge of the top wing or any other references that would be helpful?
