What can I say the Hellcat was responsible for destroying over 85 % of the Japaneese Zero Gruman was ahead of his time with the folding wing design not that this one folds. To think he got the idea from a paper clip and eraser.... But Sadly this one must go due to the warehouse being moved. the cat has 4.2 gas engine, retracts and servos included. Plain paint scheme can easily be altered. Was $2500, sell for $1600 sliding canopy full pilot very nice to pull up to the field on sunday morning with this bad boy oh!! and the prop is not static it is a functional 3 blade

HEY SANTONOMOS, NICE F6F HELLCAT. HARD TO TELL FROM THE PICTURE IF IT IS INDEED A ZIROLI. IT COULD BE A BYRON, AS BYRONS PURRPOWER USES A 4.2 SAX. AS FAR AS GRUMMAN GO'S, I HATE TO BURST BUBBLES, BUT CHANCE VOUGHT, A REAL MANS NAME, DESIGNED WINGFOLD BACK IN 1938 WITH THE BENTWING BIRD. ALSO KNOWN AS WHISTLING DEATH. YOUR ANALYSIS IS CORRECT ABOUT THE A6M ZERO. THE F6F HELLCAT COULD OUT MANUEVER, OUT CLIMB, AND OUT SHOOT THE HOWARD HUGHES DESIGNED ZERO. THE F6F HELLCAT ALSO USED THE SAME LANDING GEAR CONFIGURATION AS THE F4U CORSAIR. WONDER WHERE GRUMMAN GOT THAT IDEA?

Well gents,
This is not a Ziroli. it is a Byron. Stuka that's a great chunk of historic Knowledge you have there The wingspan is Roughly 80-84 inches. Not very sure I would have to take it down.
