getting started
I've been flying R/C since the day I was born. It's a load of fun. I want to get started in giant scale planes but I jsut don't have the money. So...If anyone out there would like to give me a 35% aerobatic plane with engine and everything, that would be great.

Splash,
Let me know if someone hands over their 35% and I'll be the next one to try begging.
Honestly, if you are an experienced pilot; why not trade some work for flying time. Maybe you could do some rebuilding, covering, or graphics design for someone who has a big plane. Or show up at an IMAC contest and offer to work all day. I guarantee somebody will at least give you some buddy box time on a cool plane.

There are a lot of great deals on giants-- the post above is one I am trying to sell. I am not trying to sell you my plane, but just proving that Giant scale (buying used) is not much more expensive at the moment than a 60 size kit if you are purchasing everything new. I think all of the giant ARFs have made the price of used giants come way-- way-- way down. If you are starting off buying a New DA 100 and a Carden kit-- that is another story. Everybody has to start somewhere.
