CONFIRMED - CHIEF AIRCRAFT NO LONGER SELLS FUTABA/GREAT PLANES MERCHANDISE
I just read that Chief Aircraft has had a conflict with Hobbico (Great Planes & Futaba) and would no longer be selling their stuff. I just looked on Chief's website, and sure enough, all of those products are gone. What a shame Hobbico, Chief has always been wonderful with the Hobbico items they've sold to me.

It's okay, there are plenty other stores and online shops that sell Futaba. I like chief as most of the stuff they sell is top quality.

I'd like to hear why that decision was made. It must have been a pretty tough decision to drop the largest supplier of r/c related products.......

Check their website or call for good deals on leftover great planes stuff. I picked up a futaba 9CAF radio for $349 ($50 less than tower price). They also were selling the Christen Eagle for $339 (like $60 less than tower price).

About a month ago they put it all up on special. Stuff like O.S. 1.60's for right around $200 and such. All the GP ARF's were marked down a good bit - all they have left are Cristen bi-planes I think now.
