Default Gas Burner Smoke system?

I have a Quadra 52 on a big bird with a smoke system. The system smokes well, but I am burning off the taigon tubing that attaches to the nipple on the muffler. I tried silver solder for a brass extension but the stress broke the pressure tap in the muffler,, not to get the threads out.

Any help on tubing to use on a pressure tap and not burn off. Thanks in advance.. Jim

Put a 2 inch piece of neoprene line in between the muffler and the Tygon. It will handle the heat.
