Moki 1.80 or Zenoah G38??
Need help guys. I've got a Stinson Reliant and want to use one of the two engines on it. Can't seem to find out how much fuel the Moki will drink. What about vibration, power etc. Plane will weigh about 22lbs. Thanks for any input--

I currently have a Moki 180, drinks 2 ounces AT FULL THROTTLE. I can get an easy 15 minute flight on a 24 ounce tank with 1/4 tank or more left. Thats flying 3D. They drink less fuel then a Saito 180 does! Smooth, my Moki runs dead smooth, no problem what so ever.

I have a Moki 180 on a 13lb profile airplane.
Consistently gets 20-25 minute flights on 16oz of fuel.
Runs good on 0% nitro 15% oil homebrew which costs me $6 per gallon to mix.
Lot lighter plant than gas motors of equivalent power - Downside is the slime.
My opinion is glow is a no-brainer on airplane below 15 lb.
(Unless you need to add lots of lead in the nose anyway)
Not sure a Moki 180 (or even a 210) would be enough for a 22lb airplane.
But I'm one of those guys that likes his planes a little overpowered.

That Moki is one GREAT running engine - and in the plane you are thinking of putting it into - will do you just fine. As far as fuel goes, I won't worry about it - you won't be running at full throttle and it gets pretty good mileage at less than full throttle!
