I now have a VG6000 from airtronics, however I have out grown it, I need to get a new more advance one for me its between the 8 channel airtronics and the JR 8 channel, (mostly because I have 8 recievers that will work with the radios I mentioned) I want to know what other people think is a good 8 channel between the two I mentioned or others also,,thanks I appreciate the help.

I personally prefer the JR and Futaba brands. I found the Airtronics a little lacking in some areas. Go with the JR!

My vote would be for JR also! The RD8000 has no Expo on the Rudder!

I don't have any experience with airtronics, but I can say I really like the JR stuff. The 8103 is a very good radio for the money. JR is suppossed to be coming out with a new 9 channel in the next year or so. It might be very interesting consider how neat the new 6102 6 channel is? Jr service is top notch too if you ever need it! Hopefully you won't!

You didn't say which Airtronics 8 channel you were considering. As previously stated the RD8000 is a comparable choice to the 8103 with some specific variations in programming that make each a good choice depending on what your doing, but the Stylus blows the 8103 outta the water, especially with the aero card and memory card. Of course your looking at considerably more money.
