Default Extreme Flight - 87" Yak

http://www.extremeflightrc.com/product_html/87Yak54.htm

Looks like the EF yak is arriving in September. Who's got one on order? This is just one more reason my wife is going to divorce me.... I read another thread about AIDS (aircraft induced divorce syndrome). Extreme Flight is going to be my undoing....

I won't blame her

This guy just keeps pushing the date further back...

I don't think we can have one flying before end of this season...

He should start giving a good discount to the people who have had their name on the list for the last 1 year...

Ohh...BTW I maidened my shocky last night...

Since I glued one of the wheels and it won't turn, I hand launched it and started hovering straight away

Then I leveled off and trimmed the plane

I guess I will just have to perfect hovering and catching the plane mid-air since landing this thing is such a hassle anyways

Mat,

I just cut my gear off all together on my foamy. The pants / wheels just get in the way if you are flying outside. Call me today.

If they don't show soon Mr. Hinson may have a few extra laying in his lap.Think I will look for something else.

I heard just a few days ago they are finished and were just waiting on the boat ride. It takes about a month to get it here so I've been told.

I think it is going to be a very fun plane and I want one. I don't buy rev. one of anything but there is little to no chance they won't be eaten up very very quickly. I hope all is well and he gets them produced exactly as he wants,. I can see room in my hanger for one!!!

I have one on order. I already have all the electronics. The DA 50 and required pipe/props hopefully should arrvie late this week. Question is if I should sell the 68" yak once I get the 87" yak in the air?

I think these planes will fly out the door (no pun intended). My 68" yak is the best plane in its class - IMO. This 87"er will be even better...... I don't see anything else out there in this size with comparable weight, quality, and appearance. I can't wait to try this plane w/ the tuned pipe.

Although I hate that the planes have been delayed,

Everyone keeps saying that they are delayed again....
I dont see how that can be since there was never an arrival date. I had always heard late summer early fall.
We arent even into late summer yet are we?

Don,

My comment wasnt directed at you only..
I have heard this a few times over the last few weeks.

IMO, they'll get here when they get here and they'll be worth any wait we have to endure..

I hope they won't be too tail heavy... it seems most in this size wind up like that.

I also have all a bunch of 8611's, a Li+ power system, and a DA-50 w/ exhaust TBD by cg siting here waiting.

I think all the hardware is included with this plane. Obviously not servo extensions and things like that, but I think the control rods, tank, wheels, and all that stuff is included. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm seriously thinking of ordering one...moving up from near quarter scale extras/caps with 1.60 2 strokes to this gas...hopefully it will be a doable leap for me.

Anyone know if the Yak is made with the room/cutouts for a cannister installation...if so I'd really like to go that route with a DA-50. I like quiet.

It's got room for a full tuned pipe. I'm running the KS 1060. Just came in today.

The pipe tunnel is built right into the fuse.
Plug and play!

Do we know for certain these things are on their way? I'm really excited about mine, BUT I keep seeing these super low prices on the Comp-Arf 2.3's. It'd suck to have the deals expire and then have this shipment bomb as well.

Hell if I know, but the web site says end of september....

I went through your question in my head too... Problem w/ the Comp ARF - Dorky - no fixy.... (for the most part). If you crash the EF yak, you can fix it.
