Default first pull pull?

I am in the process of putting togather an aeroworks ultimate. I am using the dubro heavy duty pull pull system. Here is my problem. The hardpoints on the ultimate are very close to the hindge line say 1/4" or so. when i install the 8-32 rod throught it and attach the pull pull hardware my conections will be infront of the hinge line by about 1/4" to 1/2" . Is this an issue? everything I read says stay inline with the hindgeline of just aft of the line. Should I drill out a new area to and install a dowell then tap it to move it back ? any help would be apeciated this is my first attempt at pull pull

cut the horns on the Du-bro pull pull system that attach to the 8-32 threaded rod, and drill a new hole... easy as pie
