Power for a Citabria Pro (Balsa USA)
I am beginning construction on a Balsa USA Citabria Pro.
I want to power it with a gasoline engine. Anybody have any experience with this plane?

homelite 25cc
Powered my with a Homelite 25cc weedwacker conversion....flys good....not great......a bit sluggish (a friend has an OS twin in his...looks great but also sluggish) I think it's just a bit sluggish by nature....

i built this kit and powered it with an Enya 120, it flies great, a little under powered for airbatics but it gets it around just fine for me, if i ever need that engine on another kit i think i will replace it with a little more power, Let me know how your goes .. i have pics of mine on here.....

Power for a Citabria Pro (Balsa USA)
I am flying the Dynaflite Decathalon, wing span is 89 inches and I am running a Quadra 35 with an 18-8 prop. Runs excellent, capable of very large loops and decent verticals. Weighs 18 lbs, obviously slightly larger than the Citabria Pro but that will give you a ballpark idea for power.
