That may be an AHS laser if it has a f/g fuse. Mold now owned and produced by Greg at g/l hobbies. Had a flyer and a finisher at one time. Flew the flyer and sold it and swapped off the finisher.

Laser 200
Aeropro laser 200 does not use an aluninum wing tube, it has plywood jointers on edge. I guess the builder could have installed a tube. and Aeropro has a foam wing with an 87" Span.

The early Aero Pros used the plywood joiner system, the later versions came with aluminum wing tubes....a much better system.
If the cowl on yours is no where near scale...its an Aero Pro. They fly real good.
Just trying "hepp"

Aeropro
I believe that Aero Pro is out of business, to bad, it's a great flying plane. I have their Laser and also built their CAP232. The Cap flew well but was to heavy for its size so I sold it and built a Carden 35% CAP with a 3W 100, It's a sweet heart. The Aeropro Laser has few bad habits and the Carden has none in my view.
I would be intrested in purchasing another Areopro Laser kit to put on the shelf in the event I destroy the one I now have.

Aeropro Laser
I believe my Laser will drop a tip if it gets to slow. When Building the wing jointers shifted slightly before the glue cured and the wing insedence is off a little between the two wings. I trimed and shimmed the joiner and got the incedence close. Put a pricision level on the flat hatch surface and zero the fuse and put two Robart incedince meters one on each wing and compare the two. The incedence should be Zero at the root, check the tips also. Both wings should be level span wise too. I have enough elevetor to do scale aerobatics not freestyle. The Aeropro Laser has a week tail, the fuse breaks at the leading edge of the stab. a lot of the radical flyers out here in Cal. broke the tails off and lost the plane. I found out about this while my plane was still on the table and I strenthend the tail area. Steve

Branline ...
Hey, I went to that Website for branline, and clicked on the "My Photos" link at bottom of the page and it bought up a photo album that had some pics of the "Super Plane" Leo Loudenslager was buiding when he got killed in that motorcycle wreck. I had heard about this plane, but could never find out what ever happed to it after his death. The last word I got was that Leo had put it through flutter tests at Zivko (Who also manufactured the composite wing). I had assumed since the Edge 540 came out shortly after Leo's death, that the 540 must have been the design that Leo had developed. Boy was I ever wrong. That plane he was building looks like a death trap. If that motorcycle accident hadn't got him, I bet this weird looking plane he was building would have !

I think that www.pbgcomposites.com make a Laser, not sure what size though. It was designed by Frazer Briggs and co. so you know its gotta be good.

Leo's plane ...
Hey, I have much respect for Leo, and all he did for World class aerobatics. So much so, that I met him once, and he escorted and gave me a personal tour of the Bud light 200. He allowed me to take pictures and measurements, from which I drawed a set of plans and built an awesome flying "accurate" scale 30% Bud Light laser. I have respect for the man. My comment was meant particularly to reference the extremely odd, and weird looking non traditional empenage. Quite simply, .. it "looks" like something that might kill you.
