RC 56 canopy glue. It looks like white elmer's glue and it doesn't stink like CA.

I have some.

I was wondering how you keep a good tight fit to the fuselage. How do you get the best results using it?

I use green masking tape, takes a lot longer to cure, but great results.

Use PFM or Shoe Goo .. works a lot better than canopy glue and its clear when it goes on and when it dries. Stronger than anything out there and its removable if you need to do so.

PFM is hard to find, but well worth the time if you can get it.. it is thick and it "flows" into gaps, etc. I put a small bead around the canopy, drop it in place and tape to congform to the fuse.. I end up with a gapless fit every time. If any glue gets out from underneath while curing, let it dry and roll it off.

Amazing stuff!
