RE: New 27% Extra 260 from H9!!!
The Horizon website gives a weight on this aircraft of 11.5 to 15.5 pounds. I would like to hear from someone from Horizon on how to get this airplane to come in at 11.5 pounds. If it can't they should not advertise it at this weight. This appears to be a problem with all the distributors. I think we as end users deserve better. Any thoughts. By the way this looks like a very nice airplane.

I think this size competes with Wildhare RC and Great Planes.
I think this shows a quick reaction time to the market.
Less than a year to market.

Very nice! Mike's wing design is very good (My Midwest Extra and H9 Extra are great flying planes) and the scheme on this plane is very classy. Construction looks quite a bit lighter than the Wild Hare, which will make up for the size difference. I am looking for a new job and when I end up moving to a new location I'll probably have to order one for my Brison 3.2 . I'm sure this plane will do great 3D in the right hands.

RE: New 27% Extra 260 from H9!!!
The discontinued 80" Hanger 9 Cap (great flying plane) had a wing area of 1248 sq. in. The fuse length was 70 1/4" which is 2 inches shorter than the 260. The Cap's approximate weight was estimated to be between 14 and 16 lbs. I think the H9 260 should be a very nice flying plane since my 80" Cap is glider like with a Brison 3.2 I am finishing a Miles Reed 27.5% Extra 260 and already have $350.00 in the airframe without any covering, paint, etc. I wish someone would have told me about this new 260 3 months ago.[] Oh well, I needed something to do this winter anyway..

I agree cleyland, I have a BME44 looking for a home, and this just might be that home. Can anyone give feedback, would a BME44 be enough for this plane. I currently fly the motor in a 80" Midwest Cap, I am getting tired of. Input anyone.....?
Thanks,
