"Batteries seem pretty far forward"?... I put the ignition batterie in the noise for balance... The receiver batteries are in the "CG" because I remove the FUSELAGE DECK, CANOPY DECK, CANOPY BACK PLATE, FUEL TANK DECK AND PUT ONLY ONE SERVO FOR AILERON... Remenber the ailerons servos are forward the CG. see the pictures again... I will post more pictures tomorrow...

Remenber my friend... Any extra servo is extra weight... you don't need tou servos for the rudder... save weight and money....

Hey,

Nice rudder tray! How much would it cost for you to make me one? Or are you even interested?

Oh sorry I thought you were asking the size.. Woops. Yes its the Extreme Aircraft..

If anyone has seen all 3, is there any really major change between the 3 brands to make the performance and prices different from one another? Just curious

I will make the rudder tray...
is for 34% Extra?
what brand of servo? HITEC 5955 or JR 8611A?
Do you like w/ AirWild EFP Bellcrank or direct drive?
or I will include all if you can see in the picture servo tray... included the cable, AirWild Cable Attach Fitting, AirWild EFP Bellcrank, JR or HITECT servo, Titanium Pro-Links 2" and four DU-BRO 1/4 Heavy Duty Ball Links

Stupid me.....looks as if your going straight out. with the straight arm on the servo.

How is this set up working out do you have any slack in the cables.

Wouldn't a simple pull-pull cable system hooked directly to the servo arm be a lot simpler, less slop, less weight, less $ and work at least as well? Of course, I'm missing the Bling-factor of the atomic-powered fly swatter.....

Me and a buddy were talking about this and it would seem this system has taken the load of the cables completely off of the servo. Every time you move the rudder it put tension on the servo output, but this setup issolates it to the bellcrank. We just picked up our planes today and they are awesome!!

Yeah, the bellcrank removes the the static cable tension from the servo ball bearing. It doesn't change the dynamic loads when you move the rudder off neutral. I've never seen a worn out ball bearing in a servo, so perhaps this is a solution for something that's not really a problem.

You must not jam the sticks hard enough You have a point but he is only running 1 servo which is a relatively new alternative in this size airplane, besides anything to help increase service life and add some cool points is worth it. Any how i just got mine and all I can say is whoa, this thing is nice. I have had a 27% before but this thing is huge. I cant believe this was 500. I remember the giant scale EZ arfs like the Diablo went for like 900 bucks back in the day and it was like a 72 inch hunk of foam and plastic.

Guys,

I drove out to RC Superstore yesterday, and picked up two of these, (saved myself $200 shipping less $25 in gas). For $500 a piece you just can't beat it.

Anyway the proprieter was not there but I ended up dealing with his father, grandfather, and grandmother, I think. Super nice people, I ended up shooting the breeze with them for a while.

Guilletnt-Are you planning on attending any of the IMAC events in your area next summer? Budgetdude and I are going to try and get to at least one in your area, as well as the one in Waukesha, WI. Also, did you replace the aluminum bar used for the stabilizer locater pin, with CF? Way back there, this may have at least some effect.
