Carbon Fiber Tail Gear Question
I want to use a carbon fiber tail gear on my 35% Carden Edge. The ones from Graphtek are what I have in mind, but not sure which size to get. My Edge weighs about 24 pounds and the two choices of tail gear are for planes up to 22 lbs or planes up to 30 lbs. The cost is not the factor at all; it is the smaller size and weight that I would prefer in the smaller gear, but safety is always of primary concern. What are you guys using?

RE: Carbon Fiber Tail Gear Question
I found when using the graphtech use one size larger than he specifies, in your case use the larger gear than the one for the specified weight range. The 3W tailwheel is very nice, as well as the rcblimp as well. Also is you are trying to save weight, there are some haigh style tailwheels that are titanium and very light as well.
