Sukhoi Power
The 23 will fly it, I've seen it and it does OK, nothing spectacular. That's why I put the Brison 2.4 in mine. Kapow!
Others here are flying them nicely on U.S. 41s. The plane will take the weight and fly good scale aerobatics. Sure beats wiping them down, too. Tex.

I have a Goldberg SU-26 with a 3W-24 and it works great! You just need to watch the balance when putting one of these larger gas engines in it.

Carl Goldberg Sukhoi-26- need help!
Hi there, I have a Goldberg Sukhoi that I installed a YS120 in and it worked pretty darned good but didn't have unlimited vertical. All according to the weight you come out at, mine was too heavy at around 12 - 13 lbs. I tried a Ryobi 31cc but the YS120 was actually better so would imagine that the G23 would be a little on the light side for power.

I had a CGB Sukhoi with a YS120NC and if flew great. I mounted the servos in the tail and had to add nose weight to balance. With that said you should be able to fly it with a G23. I have a G38 that I will sell for $180 you pay shipping. If you mount the servos in the tail, you should not have a problem with either engine.
