Default 102" Quique Yak

Gentlemen;
I'm considering purchasing a 102" Quique Yak. Just wondering if there is any feedback out there on them - how they fly, precision, etc. I am currently flying a 35% Carden Extra, any comparison? Thanks.

You only ask, becasue you haven't seen one fly or flown one. Anything QQ does is awesome.

Go on QQ's web site. They are having wing problems with them. They are redesigning the wing, or you can fix the original ones. I wouldn't buy one until I knew for sure the new wings were any good. Scott

actually they have had 2 failures-to my knowledge and only during EXTREME maneuvers -ie: full throttle walls
I have not done the mods to mine but I fly as you would any GS
airframe -ie: no full throttle snaps and use of throttle on down lines ect.
I have not had any issues
I think it is commendable of QQ aircraft to admit to a possable problem and
offer a new set of wings to their customers
I have NEVER herd of any ARF manufacturer do this -have you? but dont take
my word for it -goto the web site and read it for your self

If you have any building skills at all (not kit skills, arf skills) the mod is easy. I fly the *hit out of mine and have had no issues. It is just plane incredible how incredible this plane flies. We had a visiting TOC level pilot at our field the other day. Let him fly my QQ and now he is ready to get one for himself. You can't go wrong. go read the huge QQ 102" thread all you need to know is there.
