PPg or the ones that troybuiltmodels.com sell are very good, strong and good luck breaking them. I bent a aluminum tube and after the switch no problems, plus save a little weight. Most people running 35-40% airplanes use them.

PBG tubes are good products and they are great people to deal with. I have bought several direct and the shipping cost has only been around 10 bucks each time.

RE: Carbon Fibre Wing tubes ????
During a midair, carbon tubes BREAK and aluminum tubes bend. Now I use carbon tubes as midairs happen but not very often.
I know a guy that has had a Carden 35% Extra wing go through the wing of his 42% velox in the air. The Extra had carbon tube and the Velox aluminum. The Carden was a total loss (the wing tube broke before hitting the ground) and the Velox had major damage but was landed. The tube bent, the fuselage cracked at a couple of places and the wing had broken from the leading edge to more than 12" back and about 8" away from the end of the wing tube.
Yea the Velox ALWAYS flies with 4-5 ounces more but it STILL flies.
Both guys were flying IMAC with speed typically faster than 3D type of flight.
