Default 25% J-3 Cub - Which Servos?

Hi guys,

I am thinking of getting a Quarter-Scale Airborne-Models Piper J-3 Cub. They recommend high torque servos. My friend has the same cub and uses 60 ounce servos. Which servos shall I get, please?

Regards,
Mike

On my 1/4 scale Giles I am using Hitec servos with 65 OZ torque on my rudder and ailerons, and standards on my elevators and throttle. I do not have and problems using the standards. If you want to save a little money, I would do the kind of setup I did -- half and half!

Cubs use fairly small contol surface throws, so any good ball bearing standard servo would be enough. Now, if you were going to try flying 3D with it you would want more

For a 1/4 scale cub i dont think it requires hi torque servos. The cub didnt fly very fast, so there is little resistance on the control surfaces.
