Default CG on your CAP

Did your CAP balance on the recommended CG? I had to place 12 oz in the tail to balance mine.I'm using a Zenoah GT 80 for a powerplant.
Thanks in advance

Japan,

Right now my plane is balanced on the wing tube with a ZDZ 80, rudder servos in the tail and 3 oz of lead in the nose. 23.5 #'s RTF.

Wayne, looks like you are using standard mufflers. Any noise issues? I'm happy to hear you were able to put the servo's in the tail. I'm planning on using a pipe on mine but was curios of where to put the rudder servos.

Best of luck............Mark

The muffler is a J+A Pitts. I havnt run it yet so I'm not sure how loud it will be. I am hoping it will be quiet enough to do some IMAC next year.

Default What servos???

Wayne,

What servos are you using in the Cap?

I'm in the process of purchasing one of these birds used, and was considering 4131s on everything except rudder. On rudder, I had planned to use a pair of futaba digis (9252?).

Thanks, in advance, for your thoughts.

Tom
