I need to ask the question that can always be a can of worms. What is the reccomended hinges for bigger aircraft. I do all arfs and they all come with CA hinges. Please give me you thoughts. I fly 25-35% aircraft. Thanks in advance.

My preference-Robart Hingepoints.CA hinges are fine for smaller planes. The larger the plane, the larger the control surface and that means more force is being put on them.I like them alot.Easy to install and never a problem for me.JMO

I've used CA hinges on 40% size airplanes, and have never had a problem. I just use a lot of them, (1 every 2 inches or so) and make sure that they when gluing, the glue wicks in well.

Robart Hingepoints are the way to go! They are easy to install, and you don't have to worry about fogging your covering with CA. Robart sells several different sizes of these hinges.

Thanks for your replies, the only problem I have with robart hinges is when I go to seal the hinge line. Any tips on that........
