I have a ZDZ 50 that I'm about to mount on a CA 27% Extra. 1/4-20 bolts size won't fit the motor without drilling out the holes. Would 10-32 size be enough to hold the motor on without any problems? It will be mounted directly on a ply firewall.

10-24 is a more common size thread pattern. Same size bolt.

I use 10-32 on 100ccplus engines. Ain't failed me yet
