Did I hurt my ignition?
I just realized that the power to my ignition has been left on for probably more than a couple months. My nicad pack seems to be toast. Just wondering if this could have harmed my ignition. It is a falcon for a zdz 80. thanks.

Put a new battery on it and try starting the engine.
Or put the new battery on it and pull the plug out. Make sure the plug is touching the cylinder head (grounded) and turn the engine over by hand a couple times. You'll be able to see and hear the spark.
If it won't spark, then yes, you hurt the ignition.
If it does spark, then no, you didn't hurt it.

Troll anyone?
Any normal human would have charged and tried! Nicads are not toast by draining and storing drained. For a while, it was even good fashion to shunt then with resistors in the pack to make sure they were kept drained.
