Which Yak???? help
I'm ready to get into a big Yak. Just not sure I can decide on which one. I want something in the DA 100 size.
QuiQue
Aero-works
Aerotech
Toc1
etc.....
With so many options, what should I be looking for
Thanks in advance

RE: Which Yak???? help
YNOT, how can you tell he is not ready just by that one statement? Please explain that one to me....
Most Yak's fly exactly the same with a few exceptions. I've owned the Aerotech and it was junk as far as quality. I have the 50cc AeroWorks and love it. I've flown the QQ and Aeroworks 100cc and both are about the same though the QQ is a bit lighter. Remember setup is the key on any plane
Then you have 3W, TOC1 and a few others.
Now been them is customer service and that is where the QQ Yak really shines, so based on his plane and customer service I'd have to agree and do the QQ

RE: Which Yak???? help
I would add the Ultra RC 100cc yak to your list, awesome looking plane and comes with all the hardware (all useable stuff), carbon wing and stab tubes, carbon main gear, etc. The AW 100cc yak looks nice, but a review I just saw of one on another website was that it came out to 29lbs using canniste mufflers. Too heavy IMO.

RE: Which Yak???? help
Lets not get crazy... I actually ordered the QQ Yak through my hobby shop yesterday. The reason was because I can associate the designer, with the plane because he's actively competitive. This is not to belittle the rest of the manufacturers, it's just that I figure you can't go wrong QuiQue's design.
I posted the question, becuase I do notice some of the other brands do come with hardware, this and that.....
That's all. And Just wondering if majority would lean towards one particular brand.
Been in the hobby way too long myself and have owned just about one of everything.
Thanks guys

RE: Which Yak???? help
WOW.... I never said I "bought" the Yak, that would imply that I already have it.... I said I ordered the QQ Yak....
So the fact that I ordered the Yak still gives me time to post some questions, get feedbacl, possibly change my order depending how I felt on the feedback, correct?
My original post still stands,

I would take a close look at the Composite-ARF 2.6 meter. It's a Yak 55 SP (sigle seater), and as such stands out from the crowd you mention.
Composite-ARF has a very good reputation, so I don't think you can go wrong with one of those either (if you want renowned names, Jason Schulman, Frazer Briggs, and Sebastiano Silvestri all comtribute to, and are representatives for Comp-ARF).

RE: Which Yak???? help
I own a 35% Aerotech(not junk)and I own a AM Yak(also not junk).I have more fun with the AM Yak and 3d,and prefer the Aerotech for IMAC and some 3d flying. Both are great flying Yaks. Also have had some flying of the Aeroworks Yak,just feel that there is a lack of rudder authority when flying
